This course explores the principles and practices of culturally relevant or responsive pedagogy (CRP), an innovative educational strategy that bridges academic content with students’ cultural experiences. Participants will develop actionable strategies to create equitable and engaging classrooms where every student feels seen and valued. Using insights from Hacking Schools, this course combines theory, practical application, and reflective practice.

This course explores Mastery Learning as an innovative educational approach that ensures students fully understand a concept before moving on to more advanced topics. It will focus on theories, practical strategies, and tools needed to implement Mastery Learning in K-12 settings. Through case studies, collaborative projects, and reflective practice, participants will learn how to design curriculum, assess student progress, and provide targeted feedback to support all learners in achieving mastery.

This course explores transdisciplinary teaching and learning as an innovative educational strategy that integrates knowledge across disciplines to solve real-world problems. It will focus on theories, practical strategies, and tools needed to implement transdisciplinary education in K-12 settings. Through case studies, collaborative projects, and reflective practice, participants will learn how to break subject-area silos, foster critical thinking, and develop students' problem-solving skills to meet 21st-century challenges.
